Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have noted your symptoms and can understand your anxiety. However, I would like to reassure you that the chance of you having brain tumor/cancer is almost nil.
The most likely diagnosis in your case is peripheral vertigo. In this condition, vertigo and dizziness occur, which may be associated with imbalance, nausea or vomiting.
Normal MRI of brain 6 months ago is also reassuring.
The neurologist would do a detailed neurological examination. If there are any abnormalities on examination, then, a repeat MRI of brain may be ordered.
Symptomatic treatment with betahistine would relieve vertigo and in addition, anti-anxiety medications would also help.
I hope it helps.

Thank you for your reply doctor. I didn't go to my neurologist this morning. I was too afraid. I went to my GP who saw me a week and a half ago for the same thing (she thought it might be a sinus infection since she's seen a lot of people recently with dizziness. Prescribed me a sulfa drug in case it was a staph infection. I took it for 10 days.) and she looked in my ears. She said my right ear was clear (a week and a half ago it had some fluid in it, but not infected) but now my left ear is just a little plugged. She suggested I try flonase and begin taking the prozac she prescribed me a week ago. She thinks it's anxiety related.
Ok - I've noticed times when it happens or it's worse:
-If I'm in a supermarket - I feel the need to be hanging onto the basket.
-After I get off an elevator
-After a car ride
-If I'm moving my head around - this happens often. For example - this morning I was helping my 4 year old son find his shoes. I was turning my head in all different directions within a small amount of time to help him look for them. Afterwards I felt off balance.
You're sure these aren't symptoms of a brain tumor/cancer?
Thank you for getting back with more information.
These symptoms are not suggestive of brain tumor/cancer.
They can be explained by anxiety and peripheral vertigo (due to ear problem).
Your current treatment seems to be fine.
