Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
Did you have the scanning done just for the problem of heavy periods, or do you have any other complaints ?
As such, there are multiple fibroids within the uterus, if they are causing problems in bleeding, it is best to have them removed ( myomectomy ).
The size is big , and would not respond to medications generally.
Also, since the scan was done just after your periods, it is not clear if there is a polyp within the uterus.
It is best to have the scan repeated mid cycle, when a polyp is best visualized.
This is not dangerous, but warrants treatment if you are symptomatic.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.

Hi
i did the ultrasound when the doctor did a physical examination and asked for it.I do not suffer from heavy bleeding i may bleed more in day 2and 3 but it is not that problem for me.
i want to have children will the operation help or it will reduce fertility
Hello,
As such fibroids do not affect fertility but they increase the risk of miscarriages and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Surgery for removal of fibroids only increases pregnancy success rates.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
