I understand your concern.
It doesn't seem to be anything to be worried about, it could just be from the sudden workout, because even if you work on your upper body, a substantial amount of weight has to be taken by your legs. It should get better over a couple of days. If the symptoms persist or worsen then we can get some tests done.
Regaring T2DM, DM patients never present with numbness or loss of sensation because, by the time neuropathy starts it's quite late in the disease process, and considering you're onyl 24 with regular check ups, that does not seem to be the case.
Just give it some time, your body including your lower limb needs to recover from the sudden workout stress that your body was subjected too.
If the symptoms persist beyond 12 hours, and seem to worsen let me know.
