Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
There is no risk of HIV here, as you had protected vaginal sex, and oral sex does not transmit HIV. Some articles give confusing remarks, but no such case has ever been reported where HIV has been spread through oral sex from a female to a male.
Moreover, the test report at the end of 10 weeks is conclusive.
So do not worry, your symptoms are definitely suggestive of allergies.
Hope this was helpful,
Dr. J

Thank you for your quick response. I should note that the Oraquick test I took was the at home mouth swab version done myself. If all directions were followed, do you think the one test was assurance enough, or should i take a follow up test just to be sure? I know I am probably just being paranoid, but I just want to cover all of my bases.
Yes, the Oraquick has a sensitivity of 95 %.
I can understand why you are worried, but I can assure you, there is no risk of HIV from the exposure you had.
Regards.
