Hello,
Thanks for writing to DoctorSpring.com with your health concern.
To me it sounds like a UTI.
Classically, your symptoms of urgency, and cramps are indicative of UTI.
You could be starting your period too at the same time, just spotting because of the infection.
Since there is no itching, burning, redness or foul odour, associated vaginal infection is less likely.
UTI or any kind of stress itself can lead to spotting instead of a full blown period.
The diagnosis of UTI can be easily confirmed by submitting your early morning mid stream urine sample for routine microscopic analysis and urine culture.
Meanwhile, please stay hydrated, drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.
Maintain good perineal hygiene and have protected sex or refrain till the infection subsides.
All the best & Please feel free to discuss further.
