What are the chances of pregnancy with nausea, headache and negative BETA HCG?

Resolved Question:

Hi,

I am in need to ask a question to an OB-Gyne. Basically, my husband and i have been having intercourse almost for a month at least 2x a week.

My fertile window was on like around June 10 to June 15 (June 15 being my Ovulation Day) -- We had intercourses almost every other day and on the Ovulation Day also.

Right after all that, i had been feeling nausea, headaches, throwing up sensations, sore breasts and i was peeing more often that regular but some of the symptoms have now stopped.

I had done a few urine home tests (which turned out to be negative, probably because i tested too early) then my doctor in Manila made me do a blood work for Beta HCG & Progesterone (Chemi)

The results are as follows:
BhCG (Chemi)
** Reference Range (Conventional)
Non - Pregnant: 0 - 1 mlU/ml
Postmenopause: 0 - 7 mlU/ml
* Less than 0.1
Progesterone (Chemi)
**Conventional Reference Range
Male: 0.2 - 1.4 ng/ml

Female:
Follicular Phase: 0.2 - 1.5 ng/ml
Ovulation Phase: 0.8 - 1.5 ng/ml
Luteal Phase: 1.7 - 27 ng/ml
Postmenopause: 0.1 - 0.8 ng/ml

** SI Reference Range
Male: 0.7 - 4.3 nmol/L

Female:
Follicular Phase: 0.6 - 4.7 nmol/L
Ovulation Phase: 2.4 - 9.4 nmol/L
Luteal Phase: 5.3 - 86 nmol/L
Postmenopause: 0.3 - 2.5 nmol/L

my questions are :

1. Did i do the Blood Test too quickly?
2. Is there still a chance i could be pregnant?
3. I had stopped going out to ensure the safety incase i am pregnant, i havent had drinks or anyhting as well and wanted to ensure that i would not do anything to harm the baby if i was pregnant.

Thanks,

Diya

Hello.

Thanks for writing to doctorspring.com with your health concern.

If June 15 was your ovulation day, then definitely you have tested too early.

-You should test earliest by the 1st week of July.

-When was your last menstrual period ?

-Are your cycles regular ?

Instead of typing these reports, would you please upload them, as pictures ?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Take care.

Hello.

There are chances you could be pregnant.

You have tested too early.

Continue taking due precautions as you are already taking.

Go for a blood B HCG test around the 1st of July.

Let me know if I can assist you any further.

Take care.
