Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

I have noted your mother's symptoms and Brain scan findings.

Her symptoms of vision loss can be explained by infarcts (blood clots in brain). Brain stroke should be treated within the first four and half hours of symptom onset by thrombolytic treatment to ensure the best chances of recovery. After that period, recovery is slow and often incomplete.

As of now, she should be started on antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin and statin such as rosuvastatin.

Risk factors such as high BP or sugar should also be treated.

Recovery would be slow and may take a few months.

I hope it helps.

Best wishes,
