Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Her right knee shows joint effusion and osteoarthritis, which are age related changes but could have been more aggravated by the fall in the bathroom. Normally the treatment involves Acetaminophen or NSAIDs such as Advil or Naproxen on a daily basis. If this is not helpful, some orthopaedicians prefer hyaluronate injections or cortisone shots which I believe has been given to her? Also, what is her weight and height?
The last option is arthroplasty if none of the medical measures work.
Regarding the back, there is right sciatica and lumbar spondylosis. She has diffuse disc bulging which also increases the chances of compression of the adjoining nerve or vessel structures. Has she received any treatment for her back till now? How bad is the back pain?
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
