To make a long answer short, is yes.
Exercise induced asthma can occur at anytime whenever you do exercise..
Some people do grow out of asthma, however for some with same past history, asthma occurs even without exercise.
It's also possible that you are having asthma but you are not aware of it as there is no demand for increased breath. Once there is an increased demand, you experience shortness of breath.
Suggest you do a pulmonary function test and assess lung function.
