Hello,
Thank you for your consult. I am one of the in-house physicians at DoctorSpring.com.
Please review the doctor's reply :
He has significant kidney damage and requires admission in the hospital for evaluation. He still has kidney size of more than 9 cm each and kidney biopsy should be fine if not done earlier. Giving a clinical decision is not based on few reports alone and any such opinion is not complete and should be avoided . You need to give the complaints, duration of problems , other medical problems and treatment received till date
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Hello,
Kindly wait for the whole report.
Once I see I can guide you better.
It will provide information on the size of kidneys, and a lot of other vital information.
So once you have it, I will get back to you.
Regards.
Patient replied :
Hi Doctor ,
Kidney size is already mentioned in CT Scan report which i sent via mail earlier.
Kidney size as per CT Scan
Right Kidney Measures 9.4x4.3 cm
Left Kidney Measures 9.8x4.6 cm
Please refer attached CREATININE AND Other results Analysis.
Doctor recommended immedate dialysis as CREATININE reached to 8.5.
I will surely forward you kidney biopsy report as soon as i get it.Doctor got report on phone and he said Biopsy confirmed that Renal failure was due to high bloop pressure.
Please suggest as Dialysis is to be done tomorrow.
Thanks
Bushra
Hi
When the creatinine is 8.5 mg/dl , irrespective of the reason for kidney failure, you require to prepare for the dialysis. There will be several reasons for the same report of Bp leading to kidney failure. You can still ask for the detailed report. The earlier the dialysis the better for the body at this time
