I understand you are concerned about your husband's health. From what I understand your husband has been feeling sick and had a bout of diarrhea for about 2 hours after drinking alcohol.
In most probability your husband is experiencing a 'hangover' as the post effects of drinking heavy alcohol. However, I may require you to answer a few questions before I could probably be sure that he is experiencing only a hangover.
1.Does he have fever?
2.Is his diarrhea bloody?
3.Has he had similar episodes after drinking before?
4.Does he have any past history of gastrointestinal problems?
5.Is he taking any prescribed or over the counter drugs for any other health issue?

In case your husbands answers to all the above questions was a 'no', then in all probability he is just having a hangover. Alcohol causes gastric irritation and it is common to have a few bouts of diarrhea after heavy drinking.
Make sure he is adequately re-hydrated. It is necessary that he drinks plenty of water and eats a healthy diet. If the diarrhea persists he could be recommended to follow the BRAT diet- bananas, rice water, apples peeled and toast(unbuttered). He must be better in a couple of days. In case he develops any fever, bloody diarrhea ,disorientation or any other alarming symptom I strongly recommend you to take him to the ER. Hope this helps.
