Hello,
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Normally ovulation occurs around day 14 in a woman with regular 28 day cycles.
Given your LMP on the 3rd of September, ovulation would have been around the 17th ( 15th fits in with that, as there is always a couple of days of variation ).
After ovulation, a structure called corpus luteum is formed in the ovary.
This is responsible for major secretion of the hormone progesterone in the body.
In turn, this high level of progesterone is responsible for preparing the lining of the uterus to receive the fertilized egg, in case pregnancy happens after ovulation..
A level above 30 on day 21 indicates that ovulation did occur successfully and sufficient amount of progesterone has been secreted to facilitate implantation of the fertilized egg in case pregnancy occurred.
So it is a positive result.
A pregnancy test would not yield information at this stage.
Please take a pregnancy test a couple of days AFTER your missed period in case you skip your period.
All the best to you with your attempts at pregnancy.
Take care, and please feel free to ask any further follow up questions.
