Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Thank you for getting back.
I can understand your anxiety, however, your symptoms are not suggestive of brain tumor.
Normal MRI brain six months ago also has ruled out brain tumor/cancer.
If the anxiety persists, you may ask the doctor to repeat the MRI brain.
Best wishes,
Dr. Sudhir Kumar MD (Medicine), DM (Neurology)
Senior Consultant Neurologist

Ok, here's another concerning symptom to me:
I woke up to find that I posted a comment on Facebook that I don't remember posting. I've never done this before , but it looks like it was posted right after I went to sleep. A family member asked a question and I commented "yes " - when in reality the answer is "no". The only thing I've done different is I started Prozac yesterday. This scares me. Again I've never done something like this before and I have dreaded brain tumor fears - this isn't helping.
Oh and I asked my husband if he did it and he said no.
Should I be concerned about a brain tumor? Is this from starting the Prozac? I took it yesterday morning, not at night though.
Hello,
Please do not worry about it being brain tumor in any way.
You probably were extremely tired, or could be due to Prozac too.
Sometimes in deep sleep it can happen.
See I can assure you, you have nothing suggestive of brain cancer.
Just let me know if something like this happens again.
Regards.
Patient replied :
What would be the concern if something like this were to happen again? Would THAT be suggestive of something sinister?
Hello,
No the symptom you had ( posting something you were not aware off ) is nothing suggestive of brain cancer.
If it happens again, use of Prozac needs to be discussed with your physician again.
Just continue the medicine for a few days and let me know.
Regards.
Patient replied :
Ok. Thank you for your reassurance doctor. I have a call into my prescribing doctor just to let her know. I took another pill today at breakfast. So this is day #2. I'm really hoping Prozac will work for me. I've heard great things about it really helping people with health anxiety, which I'm sure you've noticed, I have. Thanks again doctor.
Hello,
Definitely. Prozac is an excellent medicine and works wonders.
You will settle down too.
Don't worry, it won't recur again.
Regards.
