No the symptoms you're experiencing over the past few days does not resemble any STD.
I agree with the RN who told you that the rash was a part of Iodine scrubbing. Also from contact of saliva, until and unless there is repeated exposure, chances of getting STDs are less. Kissing would have been different ( risk for HSV-1 ), but not with the kind of exposure you had.
However it is better to still get an STD screening done for your own satisfaction. Once it has ben ruled out, you will also feel better.
Currently what you're having may be due to an allergic reaction. You can take Claritin and see if the redness disappears. If the symptoms persist beyond a week, then you can get it physically examined by an urologist.
However I will once again reassure you, from the exposure you had, there are very little chances of getting STD, chlamydia in particular.
