Hello. Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com I understand your concern. Inflammation of the brain needs thorough evaluation. It can indicate encephalitis which needs treatment right away, or it can also indicate meningitis, inflammation of the meningeal layer in the brain. I need to know about your symptoms. Why did you get a CT at the first place? Did you have any neck stiffness? Any vomiting? Any visual disturbances? Any seizures? If possible also upload the CT interpretation report. Awaiting your reply, Regards.

I had headache and I was stressing much about it but my doctor said to me it could be allergy or tooth infection he said nothing serious all good he didn't give me any tablet said to use steam and intake It to nose and use Vicks and I have depression problem

Hello.

Now it seems that your doctor had said you have inflammation, not 'inflammation of the brain'.
Your doctor must have referred to inflammation of the sinuses since your symptoms all point to that. This could be due to an allergy. So he has advised steam inhalation as well. This is definitely nothing to worry about.

Inflammation simply means congestion with or without swelling, of any part of the body.

So please relax and follow your doctor's advice and take tregular steam inhalations. This will relieve the sinus congestion and inflammation and in turn your symptom of headache.

If the headache is unbearable you can OTC like Ibuprofen once with food.

If you are still worried about the CT result, please upload the report so that I can help you further.

I hope your doubt is cleared. Feel free to ask queries.

Regards.
