I'm afraid I may have an STD or perhaps just a UTI. I had some burning while urinating last week with a little bit of blood (not a noticeable amount) when I wiped. Now it has become itchy down there and I cannot hold my bladder and need to urinate often.
What should I do?
Can I avoid seeing a doctor and what will happen if I don't go to one?
Any home remedies?

It sounds like more of a UTI.
Home remedies are not recommended.
It is wise to see a doctor.
If you do not see one, untreated UTIs may damage your kidney, untreated pelvic infections similarly can damage your uterus and tubes.
Please go for a urine routine microscopy and urine culture test.
That will confirm the UTI and the source of it.
Also, it will direct the antibiotics to be used.
Meanwhile, drink lots of water, and maintain strict perineal hygiene.
