Hello.
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com.
I understand your concern.
I presume you have a swelling on the right side of your neck which is painful and is causing difficulty in speech and breathing as well as choking.
- Have I got that right? Please clarify.
- Does the swelling move up and down on swallowing?
A large thyroid swelling can cause those symptoms but this has to be confirmed on inspection and examination.
It is unlikely to be a complication from cardiac ablation done many years old patientago.
If all these symptoms are affecting your daily routine, you have to see a doctor.
Please reply and upload a picture of the swelling as it will help in diagnosis and I can provide a more definitive opinion.
Awaiting your response,
Regards.
Patient replied :
Yes that is true, pain on the right side of my neck.
the pain worsens when I eat, drink or bend down. It also seems to have a movement when I swallow. A large thyroid seems to make more sense at this point then anything else. I appreciate your kindness and hasty response I will have to make an appointment to see a doctor as it's been almost a week and the pain has not left me.
Thank you.
Have a pleasant evening.
Hello.
