Long before, studies have been done to find the effect of Lysine drug on herpes infection and curing it. Anyway many people told that Lysine helped them in reducing the burden of herpes. But some other studies on the same topic came out without much positive results. Anyway it is clear that Lysine cannot prevent a recurrence of this infection, at all.
