Hi,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.
First of all, I would like to reassure you that your symptoms do not suggest any serious brain related problem.
The click sound is most likely due to movements of ligaments or joints in the upper cervical region (upper part of neck, which attaches to the head). This sound gets referred to the head.
Sometimes, it could arise from the middle ear, which has fluids and occasionally particles, which has close connections with the brain. On movements of head, the fluid and particles move, producing the click sound.
I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any more queries.
Best wishes,

I have headache all day just to add I had mra brain 3 months ago all clear
I was scared of ruptured aneurysm
Do we hear noises with this
And does it develop quickly
Are you certain this is unrelated to anything serious
I want to be certain thx for your help
Hello,
Ruptured aneurysms are very less likely. No you will not hear the kind for noises with ruptured aneurysm. The noise you heard is mostly external. Moreover if this was an aneurysm you now have definitive clinical sings like weakness or seizures.
I am reasonably certain that this is NOT serious. As I said this could be from ligaments, joints, bones or the ears. This is very less likely to be anything related to the brain or blood vessel. You can relax and carry on.
Please feel free to ask followup questions.
Hope this helps.
Thank you

But what about tumour. It's 4 days headaches only alleviate with Tylenol then come back . How fast do tumours grow
I had mra brain 4 months ago normal
And mri 16 months ago normal
Hi,
Thank you for getting back.
Since you had a MRI and MRA recently, tumor is already excluded. It does not grow so fast.
At least 2-3 months of symptoms such as headache, vomiting, double vision, etc are present.

I went to et ct scan normal
It hurts behind ear when I touch it more
I can replicate pain
They think it's nerve
How can I alleviate
When I press it hurts tender
Thank you for getting back.
I am glad that your CT scan came back as normal, and so, tumor was again excluded.
For relief of nerve pain, your can take tramadol tablets. I usually give it at a dose of 50 mg three times daily.
Another good medicine is pregabalin (lyrica). I usually start at 75 mg once daily, and build the dose up to a maximum of 300 mg per day.
