Tender lump in knee, forearm. What are these?

Resolved Question:

I have a lump on my left knee on the left side of the kneecap also one just below the kneecap. I have a lump on my right foot that is tender to touch, I have another lump on my right forearm. My period is 39 days late and I have my tubes tied. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I currently take 900mg of lithium, 200mg of seroquel and 50 mg of atarax.

I can understand your concern.

This does seem to be shingles. Since you took valtrex early in the course of the disease probably you didn't get a crop of blisters but if you observe closely you will be able to appreciate a couple of blisters on the red patch. I would recommend that you complete the course of 5 to 7 days of valtrex as recommended by your doctor.
