Chest pain, cough with normal ECG, CHEST X-RAY.

Resolved Question:

hey

I have pain in my chest with a minor cough without phlegm or blood since 7 days ago

There was heat in my chest

I am a smoker since eight years and now I took off with it a week ago

There is now pain in my chest and the pain in my chest bone to be precise ,sometimes I feel pain in the shoulders and in the legs and in the thigh

I went to the hospital twice and they said that everything is is excellent

The ECG and chest x-ray Excellent

But there is a problem in the blood analysis and the consultative doctor must see this analysis

Unfortunately, the consultative doctor will not come to the hospital for 3 days

I have upload to you 2 photos for the ECG and blood analysis

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com

The ecg sent by you is normal and shows incomplete rbbb which is a normal variant. Can you describe the pain that you are having. Is it a heaviness or pricking sensation. Is it more on exertion or only at rest. Are you having sweating nausea or breathlessness.

The blood tests you have are abnormal. But they are not the best tests for heart attack. You should get a Trop I or Trop T test done to confirm whether the heart muscle is getting damaged in the ongoing pain.
A 2d echo test would also help in ruling out a heart attack.
You should quit smoking totally.
Feel free to discuss further,

Thank you doctor for your answer
I went to the hospital and I returned just now
I asked them for a complete analysis of all the functions of the body, including the heart
They do all the tests for me except the heart analysis ((troponin)) I must wait for the results after 10 days from now and yes I have sweating and breathlessness and a headache and I am have asthma since I was thirteen years

I have upload two pictures of the new blood analysis and one pictures for the drugs that the doctor has been giving me
Are there any recommendations? Do you recommend with another drug?

for the records I have stopped smoke since 11days

Thank you doctor

Hello
The pain that you describe is atypical and less likely to be cardiac. The tests that have come positive indicate that heart muscle is being damaged. However this test has low sensitivity and specificity and occasionally it comes out to be positive even a non cardiac chest pain. That is why we need another more specific and sensitive test like the Trop I. This test will effectively rule out any false positive result of the previous test. Negative trop test will rule out any ongoing damage to the heart muscle also that will be helpful to rule out any cardiac issues like heart attack.

So kindly get the test done as soon as you can.

And also you can continue with the same medicines as he prescribed.

hey I just get the test now unforchantly I can't upload them on the website and I dont know why I uploaded the test result in another site http://www.m5zn.com/newuploads/2014/10/23/jpg//026c2fb1e0015cb.jpg http://www.m5zn.com/newuploads/2014/10/23/jpg//1390260a37fc424.jpg Thank you

Hello
The uploaded reports show troponin to be zero. If the test is done 8 hours after the.pain began then the zero troponin levels are suggestive that there is no heart damage due to any heart attack. The raised ckmb is therefore falsely positive and doesn't suggest that heart muscle is being damaged. There might be other reasons like muscle trauma injections fever other organ disease tongue dosease prostate disease which could lead to ckmb level elevation without actually having a heart attack. The ckmb test isn't very specific for heart damage
So you my be reassured that it is not a heart attack.
Osteoporosis can be found out doing a dexa scan. It cannot be commented on blood tests.
