Hello,
Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring.
The pattern of symptoms you are having now (feeling feverish, with normal temp) is suggestive of either due to
(1) convalescence phase of an infection (gradual recovering phase) or
(2) use of antipyretic medication Tylenol.
The first possibility is most likely and that means you are recovering from a infection, most probably a viral infection. And yes this is normal and nothing particular to be worry about. Your fever should completely resolve in less than 2 days. Meanwhile you can continue Tylenol. Drink plenty of water.
If the fever is persisting for more than two days or if you have new symptoms ( like headache, abdominal pain, pain during urination, loose stools, breathlessness, decreased urine output, yellowish colour of eyes ) you should get medical help. Otherwise judicious observation and fever medication is enough
Hope this helps

I have had the fever since Sunday afternoon. So when you say it should resolve in less than two days, do you mean since it started, or do you mean as of right now since today is my 4th day with this virus.
Also, why would I be sweating even after my temperature has come down.
I mean 2 days from now (provided you have no other symptoms and fever is gradually declining )
There is a reset of temperature threshold when there is fever. So when it normalises the body sense even normal temperature as high and result in sweating ( to dissipate the heat)

There are times during the day that I have this overwhelming fatigue to the point where I cant get out of bed. I also forgot to say I have some very very minory pain in my nose and sinuses. Almost feels like they are dried out and just irritated.
Is severe fatigue something I should be worried about?
At what point if it doesn't go away should I see a DR about something that could be underlying regarding the fatigue. It is similar to bouts of fatigue I have had before even when not sick, but about 5x as powerful. I am worried about chronic fatigue syndrome possibly.
Also if you cant tell I have some untreated anxiety/stress problems that don't aid me in situations like this.
Do not worry. The fatigue is part and parcel of a viral infection. This is very common and might remain even if the fever is resolved. You need to be vigilant about the fever and other symptoms (which I mentioned in the first reply) only. The fatigue will resolve by its own in a weeks time(from now). But there are cases of extended fatigue periods known as post viral fatigue. Anyway you need not be concerned about this for now.
If you have a anxiety it is a better idea to get in touch with your GP soon if possible. A physical examination and reassurance can really help you.
