Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have read your history. You are having repeated back pain with spasm since long and you have not been evaluated for this.
I strongly recommend you to get the MRI of your back done. That should be the first step in your back evaluation. Few blood tests may be required, only after clinical examination. So I recommend you to meet your spine surgeon and get your back evaluated in details both clinically and radio-pathologically.
Meanwhile, take rest, avoid straining your back & take anti iflammatory medicine as & when required.
I hope my opinion will help you.
You can get back to us also after your MRI reports.
Take care. Stay happy & healthy,
Thanks,

Based on what I told you, what could the possible problems be? I know I wont know anything for sure until I get an MRI but I'm wondering about the possibilities.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply,
Well, based on your details, it can be possible para-spinal muscle spasm or disc lesion or arthritis or may be something else.
Dear, I dont think that you should think about so many problems whole together and better to reach the proper diagnosis. We have so many spine problems documented in literature. You will be unnecessary worried.
Please get yourself evaluated.
Stay happy & healthy,
Thanks

I got these xray today. Doc said he will order a mri for me depending on my xrays. Do you see anything worth noting?
Hello,
Thanks for writing back to us.
I have seen the xrays which shows spondylotic changes with mild scoliosis.
Xrays are not the substitute of MRI. I recommend to get it done. At the same time, please follow your treating doctor instructions also, in case he wants to get some additional test done.
Get well soon,
