I understand your concern. I have seen the picture but it is quite blurry. It shows only one lesion (you have mentioned two very bad cuts), which looks more like a sore than a cut. Also, I am unable to get an orientation as to the exact location of the lesion.
I would like additional details in order to provide my best opinion.
1- Please mention the exact site on the hips where these cuts are present.
2- Please mention the measures which were taken to manage them such as antiseptic use etc.
3- Have you been applying anything over them?
4- Do you have any medical condition like diabetes?
5- Is there pus or a discharge from the wounds?
Please answer each of these questions in the follow up and do upload a clearer picture (of a higher resolution) of the affected area.

I only have one cut on each hip. This happened 5 months ago. They are just red. For a month after it happened I was cleaning and putting neosporin on them. I w as just wondering if I needed to do something or if they are just healing very slowly.

Those cuts look more like a bruise and its actually surprising that they haven't healed till now. There is nothing to worry though, since you do not have any fever or any discharge from the site suggesting any active infection. They will heal on their own. However just to speed up the healing, i will advise you to take vitamin c tablets, one tablet everyday for the next 1 month. Some people need more time to recover from such wounds or bruising and hence they need additional ascorbic acid ( Vitamin C) to help them. Also consume a lot of dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, broccoli, have more of pulses, sprouts. If possible get a CBC test done along with BT/CT. It is better to find out if your clotting mechanism is fine. Also get an RBS test done, since diabetes is known to delay healing most commonly.
