You seem to be having a condition known as pityriasis rubra pilaris. Its a condition which is referred to as papulosquamous condition characterised by reddish irange scaling patches with keratotic papules.

The other possible diagnosis is a heat rash or irritant contact dermatitis.

I would recommend application of cortisone lotion twice a day. I would also suggest that you visit your dermatologist who can examine you thoroughly and confirm the diagnosis and treat accordingly.
