You need to have a complete gynaecological evaluation.
That would start with an internal exam - per vaginum and per speculum.
This should be followed by a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan.
Also, hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, OGTT, DHEAS, Free testosterone need to be measured.
This would help to arrive at a diagnosis.
Your symptoms could be due to just a mild hormonal imbalance leading to irregular cycles. This can be precipitated often by stress, anxiety, unaccustomed exercise, changes in your weight, smoking, alcohol, late nights, ingestion of certain medications, high altitude, illness, fever etc.
Also, it could be due to other conditions like thyroid hormone disturbance, polycystic ovaries etc.
It is difficult to arrive at a specific condition without the workup listed above.
