From the images that you have sent, the blister seems more like a pressure sore, and does not seem to be infected. It is important you do not let it get infected. So clean the blister 2-3 times a day, gently with betadine solution. Dip a clean piece of cotton in the solution and apply it on top of the blister. Also you need to apply T. Bact ointment ( Bacitracin ) or Polymyxin B ointment, after you clean the wound each time, which should be 2-3 times daily. Make sure youare not wearing any gloves till the lesion completely heals. You can expect a recovery within a week's time. If you do develop any fever, or see a color change in the blister, you can write to us immediately and we will guide you.
