Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Yes, being a foreign body, the particle will be stopped by the macrophages.
It depends on the size, if the size is too big it can pierce the vein locally and cause massive hemorrhage.
If it reaches endocardium, it will cause symptoms locally, and will be picked up by ECHO.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.

What I confused is for below questions and anwer.
Doctor tell me that if little particle touch or prick little bit myocardium. there is no death.
I also think so...
But another cardiologist tell me that it could give pain and make people die..
Below is another doctors' comments.
Pls. read and pls explain me.
Thank you
(another cardiologist comments)
As I said earlier if a needle or angiography catheter during medical procedures reach the myocardium (this is the only scenario that really happen), it cause a sharp pain and ventricular arrhythmia. If the needle isn't drove back but continue to stay on myocardiumtit will provoke ventricular tachycardia and heart attack.
This is a very common complication of this procedures and is a medical fact. The mechanism is that the small damaged myocardium tissue tigger the pain and pain together with myocardial damage trigger ventricular arrhythmia and heart attack.
The difference among myocardium function losers and myocardial trauma damage is that during the trauma the mechanism is very acute (within seconds) and this find the heart unprepared. Trauma shall cause pain, arrhythmia and immediate (within minutes) death, if it doesn't stop (wood particle infiltration and movement cause trauma damage and death) .
On the other hand Myocardial function losers has lost the myocardial function over a much longer period. So it give the heart all the needed time to activate compensatory mechanism to reduce the risk for arrhythmia and immediate cardiac death.
This is true if we compare myocardial function losers with myocardial trauma damage. However myocardial function losers has an increased risk for arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death if we compare with other patients.
Hello,
There is a huge difference in the two situations.
Here the doctor is talking about a medical procedure and obviously if the needle hurths the myocardiu it can even cause death.
You were concerned about a needle entering the finger vein and reaching the heart which is not possible.
So please think about both the situations and see the difference.

Dear Sir.
Thank you for your answer.
So Doctor think it is totally different and if wood particle stuck and prick or touch the myocardium, it cannot give the person dead. right?
Another question.
Do you think vein blood flow could particle move further in the vein or it could not have enough power to carry.
Thank you very much.
Again there was never a question of wood particle going to the heart.
I have been very clear as well as your other doctor that needle can prick during medical procedures not some random wood particle from the vein.
Venous blood flow won't move the particle because it will be blocked off the inflammatory cells.

Dear Sir.
Thank you very much.
I still cannot understand your comment.
Doctor told me that particle would be blocked off by inflammatroy cells.. right?
I also know that if virus get into vein, our white blood cell is going to fight with virus..
And Do you think wood splinter or particle get into vein.. same situation is going to happen..
right?
Do you think how long it will take inflammtory cell block off the wood particle. right after getting into vein? or while it is moving..
I also read some article, white blood cell coudld engulf or eat the wood particle... but I cannot find out the data for how long it will take for macrophage to eat the hole wood particle and is there any specific experiment for supporting this theory..
Thank you very mcuh. .
Hello,
All I can suggest after handling your case since first day is the wood particle can't travel from the veins in the finger to the heart.
And yes, it will be blocked by inflammatory cells. It is an acute response. There is no such study or experiment as this has never happened before.
So kindly do not worry about it.
Regards.
