Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Your BMI is significantly high, and that increases the chances of varicosity and sluggish blood flow, especially in the areas like peripheries where there are lots of valves and perforators.
It needs to be examined by your family physician and a doppler can be done for the right foot, to ensure no vascualr insufficiency. Since there is no other health problem, this just looks like a localised vascular issue, doppler will give us a better idea.
Please feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

I had a physical that examined my circulation 6 months ago and everything was fine. Is this something that can develop in that time frame? Also I've changed my life style in the previous year and have dropped significant amounts of weight, if it is a vascular problem would it improve with further weight loss?
Yes, circulation improves on improved physical activity and weight loss.
And yes, it can develop in 6 months, hence better to get a doppler.
