I am 29 year old Male. 15 years old patientago i had an accident & i hit my head falling from a bicycle. It was later informed by my neurologist that the bang on my head led to hemiplegia & my left side of the body was paralysed. I underwent physio therapy for a while and was able to be independent. However the strength of my arms & legs is not at its fullest. i walk.. but my steps are not straight or as they are required to be... i cant hold or lift too much weight in my left hand my fingers wont straighten up and my wrist clicks whn i try to do the extension & flexion. To add to that my left elbow was also fractured after a fall lading directly on it.
Amidst all this, My query is I plan to marry & start a family, will my hemiplegia affect our baby in any direct or indirect way. & if it does is there anything i can do to eradicate or reduce the ill effects. I am really worried about it now..Could you please suggest..
