Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have noted the patient's condition and have also seen the MRI brain reports.
Based on that, he has not only suffered brain stroke (due to lack of blood supply to the brain), but has also suffered hypoxic damage (due to lack of oxygen supply to the brain). This can happen if the patient had respiratory (breathing) or cardiac (low BP or cardiac arrest) problems.
Outcomes are generally not good, however, it depends on the duration of hypoxia/cardiac arrest.
Treatment is mainly supportive with good nutrition, physiotherapy and nursing care.
Further investigations such as EEG, PET scan of brain and evoked potential studies would help us to understand more about the extent of brain damage and help us in predicting the chances of recovery.
I hope it helps.
Feel free to discuss further,
Best wishes,

thank you Doc for the reply
i would like to know if we can take him home. if yes then how do we take care of him? here the doctors have asked us that we can take him home.
Thank you for getting back.
Yes, you can take him home. You need to learn from the nurses about the care (feeding, medications, change of position on bed, etc). In addition, you would require the help of physiotherapist for regular exercises.
