Hello,
You should NOT take Ibuprofen from neck pain without checking the Lithium levels or discussing with your Doctor. This is because Ibuprofen can increase the action of lithium and Effexor and can result in side effect.
Local pain ointments and application hot compress are the safe methods you can adopt to decrease the pain.
