Hi. I accidentally kicked my fridge months ago. I went to the hospital and they only did a one way xray and said it wasn't broken. The injury is at the edge of my foot between my heel and toes. I went for a second opinion and they looked at the same xray and again told me it wasn't broken. Since then, my foot has remained the same pain, I cannot have even a blanket on my foot because the pain becomes unbearable with any contact on my foot, that I end up moving my foot for comfort. The pain is a stinging pain that's inside of it, but it worsens to a bad throbbing and stinging, with walking or even just resting sometimes and with things on it. It does swell up now and then. When I did the injury, there was a fine deep pink line bruise. No more bruising. The second opinion was that id just bruised it. I feel sometimes that this isn't the right diagnosis.

If your x rays are normal then you are most probably not having any bony injury .There are maximum chances that you may have sprain at your foot. A sprain generally take 4-6 weeks to heal with precautions like rest and immobilisation .
In my opinion you should wait,do rest and warm fomentation over affected limb.
