Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
If all his tests are normal, it is likely that he is overtly worried about cancer, which is understandable with cancer being found in almost all families. However, you mentioned the father of your child died of pancreatic cancer, so the trait is not with your conjoint.
It is possible he goes through a spell of depression during such times too.
Can you kindly elaborate what tests have been done till now? And if possible upload the reports? It will help me assess the situation better.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards,
Dr. J

Hello, I thank-you for your answer. He does have allergies, he was a smoker, but not since several months. He already takes Wellbutrin, since at least a year. He likes his beer, and usually drinks a couple everyday. Nothing has really changed, except every Spring he goes through this phase for 3 or 4 weeks. Just to know if there is something to do so that he can avoid this ``down`` every Spring. He has an appointment with his doctor the 8th july, 2015. In Québec, it is hard to see your doctor right away. Of course he could go to emergency, but he does`t want to. I know that there is seasonal depression, but that usually occurs for the winter season. Is it possible that its his problem. This year it seems worse than the other years. Of course every year he is older. He will be 52 in the next week. Wait for your news. Thanking you, Sheila Baraniuk
Hello,
Reviewing his history, there is no other possible explanation apart from the seasonal depression as you mentioned.
I will still like to see his results once they are ready.
If all his reports are normal, then depression is the likely cause.
Regards.
