Tired, weak and groggy during periods. What to do?

Resolved question:
Hello, my name is Ruby and I'm 19 years old. I've always had issues with my cycle , and hadn't had one from the time I was 11 (my first one) until I turned 17 (when I became fully sexually active) I sometimes bleed for months at a time, I'm groggy, always tired and extremely weak. Tried birth control and other ways and it makes the bleeding worse. It's heavy and extremely bright red in shade as if a person has stabbed me from the inside. Please tell me if you could give me any help to getting rid of the bleeding.

Hello Ruby,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
You need complete investigations first for the irregular and heavy bleeding./
You might be having polycystic ovaries, fibroids, polyps etc.
please visit an OB - GYN at the earliest.
Have an internal exam, pelvic ultrasound scan and hormonal tests - FSH, LH, TSH , Prolactin.
This will reveal a diagnosis, and further treatment can then be tailored.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards.
