THYRONORM for removed THYROID CANCER. Is pregnancy ok?

Resolved Question:

My wife has faced thyroid malignancy (tumer) problem with right thyroid enlargement from about 2.5 years and June 2013, she has to undergone an operation. Doctors remove her both thyroid even though left was fine as stated by them. On August, 2013 she take RAI treatment on AIIMS, New Delhi and revisited AIIMS Feb, 2013. Now, doctor declared with her no problem with no thyroid cell in her body. She is now taking 150 mg thyroid tablet everyday with one calcium tab. After that in June 2014, Doctor reduces thyronorm 150 to thyronorm 125.
Now Hemoglobin 13.02; T3(total) =131ng/ml; T4(total)= 16.5ug/dl; TSH =0.042uIU/ml. Kindly let me know what should be done? Whether to reduce thyronorm level?
She is also known as pregnant (Not sure, prega News test stated half two line; with 3 days date back of periods). On January., 2015 she has to go for checkup to AIIIMS. Is it problematic to be pregnant with such test structure?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
TSH of 0.042mIU/l on Thyronorm 125mcg is satisfactory for a patient who has had surgery for thyroid cancer. This ensures that whatever thyroid cells are remaining will remain suppressed.
Pregnancy if positive during this stage is OK. Thyroid reports like this will not harm the baby. During pregnancy, a little suppressed TSH is better than an elevated TSH. So don't worry.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
