Resolved question:
Hello Doctor
I am a 29 year old healthy male.
In recent months I have become increasingly concerned with my overall health. Even though I have no specific symptoms inhave taken it upon myself to complete a series of health related tests/exams. These include a general physical, blood work, urinalysis, chest X-ray (I recently quit smoking) abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, ECG and a dermatologist exam.
Is there any other tests or examinations that you believe would be beneficial for me at this time?
Can you please forward this to the appropriate doctor and/or specialist.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
The tests are normally ordered based on past medical history, family history and the symptoms.
Since you are asymptomatic, at this point, you do not need any further testing. You got all the required tests done, and if they are all fine including your BP, there is nothing to worry.
You can post any significant family history in the follow-up.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
both my father and grandfather were diagnosed with prostate cancer in their 60's. I was told my prostate was fine after the ultrasound. Is that a sufficient test? When should I begin regular testing?
also since I am an ex smoker is their anything else I can do for my lungs?
Thanks
Hello,
If the chest x-ray is normal as of now, you do not need any further testing.
You can get chest x-rays done annually. About prostate cancer, start getting yearly per rectal examinations after the age of 50, along with yearly PSA values.
Nothing else needs to be done.
