Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring. I have read your query with diligence.
It looks that you were a manual worker in recent past.
Looking at your details, it looks that most probable cause for swelling at hand is due to presence of tenosynovitis & infection or inflammation of deep palmar spaces of hand -

If you are not having fever or other symptoms except swelling then following conditions should be ruled out -
-Gout
-Calcium pyrophosphate disease
-Hydroxyapetite deposition disease
-Sarcoidosis
-Tenosynovitis
These conditions can be diagnosed by having blood test, prescribed from a Rheumatologist. You should consult to a rheumatologist.
Till then take a mild analgesic like advil or aleeve for relief.
Hope this all will help you. Please feel free to discuss further.
