Anyway it is not so common for lymph nodes in neck causing infection in airways. But the swelling will resolve along with declining infection. But it requires a close and thorough checkup to make it clear about which type of infection is affected. Normally, lymph node swellings and bacterial infections associated with it may last for 2-3 weeks. If it persists for long, it is best advised to see your doctor again.
