A hymen which is ruptured will heal itself after in a day or two. But there is no natural way to recover a ruptured hymen.
Even if there was rupture of the hymen and bleeding, it is not that the complete area of the hymen is damaged. There could be still remnants of the hymen attached to the vaginal wall. But any further sexual intercourse or similar activities can damage the hymen remnants. So there is no particulare time frame to ‘heal’
So that means if you have to restore the hymen permanently, Hymenoplasty is the best way to go forth. This is a very simple Surgery, which can be done in Outpatient setting. This procedure will only require a local anaesthesia. The patient can go home immediately after the procedure and resume normal activities in a day. This is best done a couple of weeks before the desired purpose (eg marriage).
