Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Hereditary cancer models are used to predict incidence of cancer in susceptible families. You can refer to NCCN guidelines for elaborate information.
Additional details are in NCI website.
You will get all the required information from the above mentioned site.
This is more of a biostatistics query and a bisostatistics will be able to explain to you in detail.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Yes, I am using NCCN guidelines to detect the presence of hereditaory breast cancer. After meeting the criteria, how do you calculate the risk level in some level of percentatage( like the risk level is 2.5). I have seen some articles. Please see the link.

I have seen some model like BOADICEA. They are using Bayes theorem to predict BARCA1 and BRCA2. But I dont know how do they calculate.
Does this website provide any biostatistics person who might be able to help me as you have answered?
Thank you very much
Sincerely
Sherin John
Hello,
Thank you for your follow up Mr. Sherin John
Unfortunately we have only doctors on our panel, and my knowledge in biostatistics is restricted.
You can get in touch with some biostatistician in your locality, and he is best judge to explain how this mathematical calculations work.
If there is any medical related query I will be more than happy to help you.
Regards.
