Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Do you have any previous history of reflux disorder or GERD?
In patients with GERD due to constant belching, there will be some oesophagitis which can cause some amount of blood to be spat out.
Do you smoke/ drink? Any recent history of throat infection??
Kindly reply and I will get back to you,
Regards.

Thank you for your answer . Yes I have a previous history of GERD . however I do not drink or smoke . what would you suggest ?
Hello,
With a previous history of GERD, the bleeding could be due to esophagitis.
I will advise you to get an UGI endoscopy done for a conclusive diagnosis.
Meanwhile you can try Cap. Omeprazole 20 mg once daily before breakfast and Syrup. Sucralfate 2 teaspoons twice daily before meals. This will help in reducing the bleeding.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
