So you are fimiliar with these types of Migraines? Do you hear cases that sound like mine?
If I don't want to take the medications because of their side effects what would you recommend doing?

Yes, I routinely see patients with this type of migraine.
If the symptoms are mild and does not affect you, you can wait and watch. Otherwise, I would recommend preventive medications to reduce the frequency and severity of these episodes.
Also, certain precautions such as ensuring good sleep at nights, taking meals on time, avoiding stress, etc, would also help you.
