You should know that disc prolapse can be treated by conservative measures as well as by surgery.

Looking at your age & your MRI report i will advice you to have conservative measures to correct your problem. You should do following to have relief in this-

-Check your posture.Learn correct bio mechanics of your back by a good physical therapist.

-Your physiotherapist may help you with some exercises & physical modalities like infra red,intermittent traction therapy,ultrasonic ,etc.

-As per literature 5 year results of surgery for disc prolapse & conservative treatment are same.

-You should not worry as it is curable either by surgery or with conservative methods.You may consult to a neurosurgeon for this.

A Ortho / NeuroSurgeon who has experience in Spine Surgery will do. Also called Spine surgeon in some places. Exercise can help. You will not have sexual problems ( under normal circumstances ). But the pain can be a hinderance to the sexual act. But do not worry, this a very common problem and can be successfully treated.

Regarding the marraige proposal -I cannot comment specifically, but if you can carry on with your daily activities without much pain there is no problem. Sex will also be fine.
