Hello,
Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.
You DO NOT have any particularly increased risk of Toxoplasmosis because of the cats. The main source of Toxoplasmosis infection is thought to be ingestion of bradyzoites contained in undercooked or cured meat or meat products. Ingestion of oocysts, from contact with soil, or eating soil-contaminated fruit or vegetables is another source of infection.
So you can see that those two particular cats has got no direct reason to transmit the disease to you unless you come to direct contact with its litter. More over house cats rarely harbour it .
Just make sure that you are washing your vegetables thoroughly and cooking you meat properly. To be safe avoid all contact with cat litter ( since you have no contact with them, that’s ok). No other precautions are necessary.
The recommendations are Evidence Based .
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to ask followup questions.
Wish you a joyful pregnancy.
Thank you
