Hello,
From your symptoms, you seem to have developed severe peptic ulcer disease.
Chronic alcohol intake causes increased ulcers in stomach. It starts with gastritis, which will be your warning sign, you will have to start cutting down on alcohol and take Ranitidine which will decrease the production of acid in stomach.
But, if you start ignoring this, the increased acid production in stomach starts eroding your mucosal lining in stomach producing ulcers. Then it turns into peptic ulcer disease, caused by H.pylori. The thing about PUD is if left untreated and continue to have alcohol in large amounts, complication start occurring. Complications like bleeding from ulcer and sometimes even perforation of ulcer if base of ulcer is too thin due to increased erosion of mucosal lining.
You must have developed bleeding from ulcer, which has lead to hypotension and dizziness. You got to start treatment as soon as possible. Start with omeprazole, twice a day half an hour before food. And treatment for H.Pylori is Clindamycin taken once, ampicillin twice a day and bismuth sulfate for 14 days.
Thank you.
