Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

I have come across many similar cases probably 4 to 5 every week and from being very aggressive I have gone to better physiological understanding.
You need to get in touch with a very good physiotherapist who knows anatomy and understand anatomy better than doctors my diagnosis us pelvic dysfunction with piriformis and psoas with or without quadratous lumborum involvement.
The minor sciatic/ pseudosiatic like manifestation can be treated effectively by physiotherapy and pregabalin called as lyrica a prescription drug where you require your doctor. Can I have a look of all sections of mri axial saggital?
That will help me in guiding you further.
Regards.

Thank you for your helpful response. Since I never had any sort of tailbone/buttock problem until a couple hours after the epidural injection, doesn't it stand to reason that the injection aggravated something but what could that be? I am attempting to include my MRI report in this note and am hoping you are able to read. As you will see, I had a laminectomy back in 1976 and another in 1984 but was able to deal with any little discomfort until this epidural injection in September. Again, thanks for your thoughts.

Dear Doris,
I feel that post procedure you may develop osteomyelitis but do you have fever. can you send your MRI to understand it better, Osteomyelitis vs fracture they are very distant disorders pain is more in fracture and not in osteomyelitis. osteomyelitis requires at least few days to develop and not in a day or two clinically. your otherwise report is highly suggestive of degenerative disease of spine. still my recommendation is physiotherapy.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards

Hello,
I did send the MRI but I guess you are not able to view it. I am trying another method right after this note. No, I have not had any fever. Please look for the MRI to follow this note. This is the only correspondence I can afford so need to keep to the 3 notes.Thank you for your advice.

Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
I will advise you to send the MRI report to [email protected]
Do not worry about the number of follow ups. This consult won't be closed till your queries have been answered.
Regards.

Hello Doris,
I am sorry for the delay in reply.
I received your MRI, and to conclude it as osteomyelitis, I need to see the MRI images.
Will it be possible for you to send all the MRI images you have?
Once again let me assure you, for this consult we have made an exception, and it will be open till all your queries have been answered satisfactorily. So do not worry about the number of notes.
Kindly forward the images to the same email. Because there is very little that the report says and it is not conclusive.
Regards.
