Hello,
Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.
Modern spray paints are generally safe. However they do contain VOC - Volatile Organic Compounds which make your dizzy and result in some side effects. I assume your exposure was an one time incident (not occupational). In that case it should be safe. Wash of the paint. Rest in a well ventilated room. Do no reattempt painting now. If you have to do it use a recommended PPE - Personal Protection Equipment. In the rare case if you have any sever skin irritation, nausea, vomiting or any other symptoms do not hesitate to get medical help.
Hope this helps
Please feel free to ask follow-up questions.

Patient replied :
I am most concerned about my lungs since I had paint in my nose. But, I would have symptoms if there was a problem, correct? This is my first time using spray paint(and my last!). Thanks!
Do not worry about the paint in the nose, as it is very likely to cause any real health problem. The potential candidate for any ill effect is the VOC (which is in air). However isolated single exposure usually do not cause any harm. And yes, there would be symptoms if there was any major exposure.
Thank you
