Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have seen the MRI image. There is a bright signal at iliac crest region. It is not normal. This can be due to tear or collection of fluid at origin of gluteal muscles.
You should consult to your orthopedic doctor for this, who can physically examine you and proceed with further evaluation.
I will be happy to clear further doubts,
With best wishes.
Regards.

My orthopedic doctor didn't know how to view the picture correctly, so he has me doing physical therapy. Seriously, he said he didn't know how to zoom in. The PT he has me doing is causing great pain. What do you think the problem is?
Hello,
I have already stated that there is tear of gluteus muscle most probably gluteus maximus at your iliac bone. This can be a old tear which had healted with fibrosis or excess of tissue at torn region.
Hope this will help you.
Regards.
