Resolved question:
I have an AST of 18 and an ALT of 9. Is that anything to be worried about? I have read that the ratio can shouldn't be more than 1, but I have also read that the ratio is irrelevant when the numbers are low. And my numbers are very low. Thanks.

I understand your concern.
Yes the ratio is irrelevant when the liver enzymes are not elevated.
Only when ALT, or AST are elevated this ratio comes into picture. So please do not worry.
